Aisling Bea

Aisling bea, born in Kildare Ireland on 16 March 1984 is Ireland's richest and most well-known comedian. The comedian has appeared featured on QI together as well as Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh (born 16 March 1984) is a comedian and actress from Ireland. Bea was first able to make a name for herself with stand-up comedy in the year 2011 after playing small roles that she acted for Irish and British TV dramas beginning in 2009. Bea began performing frequently on sketch comedy shows and sitcoms from 2012. After she was awarded an award at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards (ECA) and began to be featured often in various panel programs. She was a captain of the 8 Out of 10 Cats team from 2016 to 2017 and was a regular contestant in its spinoff 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. She was born to Brian and Helen O'Sullivan and has a sister who is named Sinead. She was in 2012 the second female to receive the So You think That You're Funny award. Bea's surname is in honour of her father who passed away. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan is a Kildare born girl. She was born March 16th 1984. Bea's father Brian died when he was just three years old. He was a horse veterinary. Bea wasn't told the details of how he passed away until she turned 13. In 2017, she composed an essay for The Guardian about the suicide of her father's family. She also adopted her stage name Bea in remembrance of him. Bea (and her sister Sinead) was raised in the same home as Helen Moloney, who was a school instructor and trainer of jockeys who was a professional jockey. Her parents were obsessed by racing and horses. When she was a child, Bea was a tour guide at the Irish National Stud however she was aware from an early age that she was not interested in the racing industry as a job, and loved performing.
